Sports betting is a form of gambling involving money and speculating outcome of an event. Betting market is estimated at Rs. 3 lakh crores in India. From morality angle to religious curbs, sports betting is also viewed in certain quarters as morally neutral.
Regulating sports betting can be a revenue gainer for the exchequer.
