Dhruv Gupta is a member of the Customs and International Trade team. He has extensive experience in Trade remedy issues (anti-dumping, anti-subsidy, safeguards etc.), Customs, Foreign Trade Policy and Indirect Taxes. He has experience of working with a European Law Firm where he advised multinational companies facing Customs and VAT issues in EU.
He has represented multinationals, industry associations and government authorities in anti-dumping, anti-subsidy and safeguard investigations conducted by India, EU, US, China, Russia, Turkey etc. He has represented MOFCOM, Government of China in several transitional product specific safeguard investigations conducted by India. He has also represented the domestic industry of India in anti-dumping investigations conducted by India.
He has been extensively involved in issues relating to customs valuation, customs classification, export controls, free trade agreements, export incentives and SVB both from an advisory and litigation perspective. He is a regular speaker in various conferences on Trade remedies, Customs and Indirect Taxes.
