Rahul Beruar heads the Copyright and IP Enforcement practice at Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan. He helps clients to protect and enforce their IP in India. Before joining Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan he worked with an IP boutique firm, known for its reputed copyright enforcement practice. He has also worked in a leading law firm and was instrumental in setting up copyright practice.
He focuses on copyright and trade mark enforcement matters including copyright & trade mark litigation. Besides enforcement work, he also advises and manages IP portfolio including trade mark registration, advising and strategizing on IP issues. Along with his team he also coordinates IP investigation and assists in enforcing IP rights in India.
He is actively involved in the anti-piracy campaign in India for software majors, publishers and authors His team advises clients for stronger IP management and protection.
