The 2011 IPO Annual Meeting will be held from 11th to 13th of September, 2011 at JW Marriott in Los Angeles, California, USA. The meeting offers a mix of educational programmes, committee meetings, networking opportunities and exhibits. The speakers include James Pooley, Deputy Director General for Patents at the World Intellectual Property Organization and Chad Deaton, CEO of Baker Hughes, Inc. Concurrent parallel sessions on Patent and Trademark topics will be held including ethics presentations for both patent and trademark attorneys. IPO is also organising an additional, one-day CLE conference on “Compulsory Licensing as an Emerging Global IP Issue.” This programme will take place on 14-9-2011after the Annual Meeting.
