About Badri

Badri provides strategic advice to clients and LKS team from time to time on different aspects of law. With his vast experience, Badri is proficient in understanding business requirements of clients and has experience in formulating client centric, strategic, and practical solutions for clients. Badri advises clients in the areas of foreign inbound and outbound investments, corporate advisory, private equity, venture capital, takeover, strategic acquisition, intellectual property matters and tax laws.

Badri routinely advises our corporate clients, tax clients, financial institutions and Corporations across a broad range of contentious situations, in both a representative and advisory capacity, from internal or regulatory investigations, through to formal court or arbitral proceedings.

The Corporate and M&A team has deep experience in handling mergers, acquisitions and private equity transactions, including all aspects of transactions such as negotiations, drafting and diligence requirements and appears before NCLTs for approval of complex merger schemes and schemes of arrangements.

Badri has worked in multiple jurisdictions including US and India. He also leads the Digital LKS initiative.

He is a regular keynote speaker at several national and international conferences, round table conferences, seminars and webinars organized by leading professional bodies and chambers on subjects like mergers & acquisitions, foreign exchange laws, intellectual property laws, tax laws and structuring of joint ventures and other relates issues.

Badri has practiced briefly as an intellectual property lawyer in the United States and has drafted and negotiated intellectual property licensing and cross-licensing arrangements. He was also involved in patent litigation matters in the US.
