GST – Analysis of new GST Return formats and Annual Return

 
In the 31st meeting of GST council held on 22nd December 2018, a decision was taken that a new return system will be implemented in place of existing system on trial basis from April 2019 and will be implemented on mandatory basis from 1st July 2019.
 
Recently, new approved returns are placed in public domain to enable all members of the industry in updating their business processes and IT systems to make them compatible with the proposed return formats.
 
Further, the due date for annual return and GST audit is also fast approaching i.e., 30th June 2019.
 
The members of Industry should know the intricacies and nuances of the details to be submitted in these returns.
